Welcome to our studio in Cathedral City, California. This is where we find inspiration and create beautiful products for you. Our home in the Coachella Valley is surrounded by the stunning desert landscape, a wonderful thriving community of artists and of course, the vibrant atmosphere and colorful characters of Palm Springs and the other desert cities including Palm Desert, Coachella, Indio and Rancho Mirage.
We aim to bring you beautifully handcrafted objects to elevate your space, enhance your daily rituals, and find that little bit of peace and calm in a hectic world.
Light one of our small batch, hand poured scented candles and escape into your cozy place, pour a cup of tea in one our mugs and feel the weight & texture of the clay, or arrange your flowers in a beautiful vase catching the evening light just right.

From my hands to you...
I'm David, the creator of Mud and Wick Ceramics. Over the last three decades, I've developed my skills in visual design, specializing in color theory, textures, and composition across multiple mediums.
In 2024 I started focusing on ceramics as the medium allowing me to turn my ideas into products you can enjoy everyday. In 2026 I opened Mud and Wick to bring my creative vision to reality and share some beautiful things with the world.
